Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." John 8:12

God blessed us with beautiful weather as we, along with many people from all over Canada, gathered for the yearly fall church convention in Edmonton.  This year, brothers Dieter Jeske (Germany) and Gerry Krebs (British Columbia) were the guest pastors who delivered timely and scripture based messages under the guiding theme: “He who follows me, shall not walk in darkness.” Jesus calls everyone who is lost in sin and darkness to come to Him, the Light of the World.  All that come with a repenting heart receive forgiveness of their sin and step into the light of God's Word.  We thank God that many souls heard and followed the call to come to Jesus during our Fest!

The services were enriched by beautiful singing from the guest choir which was a combination of the choirs from Barrhead and Wetaskiwin. Other choirs, bands and the orchestra also joined in in praising God for His wonderful mercy and love.

God answered our prayers, so now we want to say: “Now thank we all our God!”
