I want to write a testimony to God’s glory. First, I want to testify that Jesus has forgiven all my sins and that I am a child of God.
I would like to thank God from the bottom of my heart for preserving my life. On May 16, 2023 at 6:00 a.m., there was suddenly a loud bang in the apartments in the retirement home where I lived. The wall between my apartment and my neighbor’s apartment had fallen, and I saw that it was on fire. I wanted to go out, but I couldn’t because my wardrobe had fallen in front of the door, making it impossible for me to get out. The floor in the other room had also caved in. I just stood inside the door and called out to see if someone could help me. A night guard and another woman came to my aid and dragged me over the wardrobe and out of the door. My clothes were all torn, and the fire was so close that I had slight burns on my leg. By a miracle of God, I stayed alive. I then went across the courtyard into another building to seek shelter. I asked God if He would preserve some money that I had hidden in the freezer so that it wouldn’t burn, and the good Lord did. Everything else, except the one Bible I was holding in my arms, was burned. Although I lost everything, the good Lord has already provided for me so that I have a nice apartment again.
I would like to thank you for the Foundation of Faith publication which we always receive so punctually. It is a great blessing to me. My prayer is that we will receive it again and again and that many more people will read it. Yes, it is worth serving God, even if it is not always easy.
